Monday, May 27, 2024 This winter, British Airways is set to inaugurate its maiden flight to Tromsø, Norway, starting from December 1, 2024. Tromsø, positioned as the airline’s most northerly destination worldwide, is now open for bookings. Renowned as one of the premier locations to witness the aurora borealis, Tromsø sits ideally within the northern lights’ oval.
The city experiences winter temperatures typically between 0°C and -5°C, creating perfect conditions for snow-based activities such as skiing, mountaineering, and whale watching. Located within the Arctic Circle, Tromsø is also famed for its vibrant Christmas markets. The city’s most charming market, along with its Christmas tree, can be found in the central Stortorget square.
