Dearest gentle reader, if you are a fan of the period drama Bridgerton , then you simply must visit Bath. The  UNESCO world heritage city in Somerset, in the west of England is famous for it's Georgian architecture and cobblestone streets, which make it feel like you've stepped into a delightful time warp. So it's perhaps no surprise to hear many of the external shots of the Ton in the series are actually filmed in Bath.

The small centre of town is just minutes from the train station, making it very walkable and meaning you don't need a hire car to see the best of city. There's the famous Royal Crescent, the horseshoe shaped street, which, for many years, has been the postcard picture of Bath.



Now, it's used to show Mayfair in the Netflix series . True fans of the show may recognise Lady Danbury's house as they walk past the Grade I listed Holburne Museum building. Or, spot the The Modiste as they walk into Abbey Deli in Abbey Green.
