BATMAN fans will have the opportunity to learn all about their favourite superhero this summer, with a brand new attraction launching in two UK cities. Props, costumes and even vehicles from several Batman films will be on full display between next month and November in both the north and the south, giving everyone the chance to pay a visit. The Batman Unmasked exhibit will first open its doors in Manchester on July 16, where it will remain until August 26.
After that, it will move to London and will remain in the capital from September 6 until November 3. It will feature eight rooms for fans to explore, as well as a gift shop where visitors can pick up some caped crusader memorabilia. The rooms are all themed and will include the Wayne Manor Library, The Batcave, a Batman Heroes room, The Joker’s Room, the Arkham Maze, a Rogues' Gallery, a Vehicle Bunker and an interactive space.
The exhibition marks the 85th anniversary of Batman and promises a "never-before-seen collection of original props, vehicles, and costumes direct from the archives". Its website claims fans of all ages "will be able to venture into the Batcave and explore Batman films (1989-2022) in this exhibition". Fans are also invited to "step into the world of Gotham City", where they can work their way through each of the eight themed rooms and look at Batsuits, Super-Villain suits, props and weapons.
There will be props from 10 films on display overall. They include “Batman” (1989), “Batman Forever”.
