A hungry Brit jetted off to Turkey and snagged a meal at famed eatery for under £95 - beating the average UK price tag on the celeb chef's steaks. Callum Ryan, a 23-year-old content creator from Milton Keynes, clocked that the cheapest steak at Salt Bae's ritzy UK joint was a slim wagyu striploin going for £95. Curious if he could bag a better deal at the chain's original spot in Istanbul, Callum hopped on a flight from Luton Airport to Turkey, which set him back just £17.

99. Touching down in Istanbul, the lad made a beeline for Salt Bae's Nusr-Et Steakhouse where he treated himself to a New York steak, fries, chilli sauce, a Coke, and dessert, all for £57.95.

The total damage? A cool £75.93, saving him £19.07 compared to the steep prices back home.

Chuffed with his culinary adventure, Callum raved: "The food was unreal, it was the best steak I have ever had." He's already planning a return trip, saying, "I will definitely be going back, the steak itself was worth it alone." For Callum, it's a no-brainer: "I think I would rather take the trip to Istanbul if the food there is as good as the London restaurant to get a weekend out of it.

I would be rushing to his UK restaurant in a hurry." This isn't Callum's first rodeo when it comes to travel bargains. Back in May, he flew to Portugal and scored peri peri chicken for less than £15 - a steal compared to his usual Nando's fare.

He even managed a three-day Spanish getaway for under £100, all expenses included. Also last y.
