He defeated Rankings leader John Catlin in a thrilling sudden-death play-off to clinch the International Series Morocco trophy at the demanding Red Course of the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam. The Morocco tournament was the third of 10 elevated events on the Asian Tour, offering a pathway to the LIV Golf League for the Rankings champion, along with additional opportunities for other highly placed players on The International Series Rankings. Campbell’s victory catapulted him to second place in the standings, just behind Catlin, with both players surpassing Oman champion Carlos Ortiz.
With seven events remaining, the competition is fierce as the top players on the Asian Tour strive for the top spot and a place in the LIV Golf League.
