Monday, May 27, 2024 Carnival Cruise Line marked its return to Baltimore on Sunday with the arrival of Carnival Pride, resuming its year-round operations from the homeport. A video captured the ship entering the port, showcasing the event. Carnival Pride is set to embark on a 14-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise to Greenland.

Following this voyage, the ship will maintain its scheduled itineraries, which are planned through to the spring of 2026. This comes after the temporary relocation of Carnival’s Baltimore operations to Norfolk, Virginia, due to the Key Bridge collapse on March 26. Known as America’s Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line is a frontrunner in modern cruising, operating a fleet of 23 ships that aim to deliver enjoyable and memorable vacation experiences at an excellent value.

In 2021, the fleet welcomed the Mardi Gras, a 5,282-passenger ship that set sail from Port Canaveral, Florida. It stands out as the first cruise ship in North America that runs on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and features the first roller coaster at sea. Looking ahead, Mardi Gras will be joined by its sister ship, Carnival Celebration, in late 2022 departing from Miami, and Carnival Jubilee, which will start operations from Galveston, Texas, in late 2023.
