An emergency road closure has been issued due to impassable flooding. On Wednesday morning, witnesses reported the B1127 Wrentham Road near Southwold was flooded due to a burst water main. It was believed the water was about eight inches deep and about half a mile from Potters Bridge, which is infamous for flooding .

"A tanker has attended the location today to clear the water for investigation before the road can reopen." It is not yet known when the road will reopen.
