Wednesday, July 3, 2024 American Airlines unveiled its 2023 Sustainability Report today, detailing its efforts to progress its climate change strategy and expedite the decarbonization of aviation. The report also highlights achievements in areas critical to the company and its stakeholders, such as safety, workforce development, and customer experience. Significant advancements in 2023 feature American’s partnership with Breakthrough Energy and Google Research on pioneering contrail avoidance research.
