It is anticipated that this line will serve up to one million passengers daily.
The delivery of these MP14 trains has met all commitments to RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités, enabling the timely launch of these line extensions. Remarkable Effort by Alstom Teams To meet this goal, Alstom initiated an extraordinary mobilization strategy. At the Valenciennes Petite-Forêt facility, tasked with assembling the trains, a second production line was inaugurated and staffing levels were increased.
Teams were organized to work extra hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Other Alstom locations also contributed significantly, ensuring timely delivery of essential train components like bogies, motors, traction systems, onboard electronics, and safety IT systems. Overall, more than 1,000 Alstom employees across seven French sites were involved in successfully executing this project.
Their dedication has yielded remarkable industrial achievements, producing nearly one MP14 trainset per week for lines 4, 11, and 14. At the Le Creusot facility, up to 15 bogies are manufactured weekly specifically .
