This new route commenced on June 15, 2024, with the first flight departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai at 10:20 PM IST and touching down at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh at 12:15 AM AST.
This addition marks Riyadh as the second Saudi destination in Akasa Air’s expanding network, enhancing the airline’s role in the region by offering daily non-stop service that combines affordability with convenience. Furthermore, Akasa Air has secured rights to operate in three additional international destinations: Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Medina.
