Thursday, July 4, 2024 Airbus delivers its first H160 helicopter to PHI in the U.S., marking the start of operations with four H160s for offshore transport in the Gulf of Mexico.
Airbus has successfully handed over the inaugural H160 helicopter to PHI in the United States, initiating H160 operations within the country. This helicopter is the first among four H160s that PHI will utilize for offshore transport in the Gulf of Mexico. Before commencing commercial service, the helicopter will participate in a route-proving program aimed at showcasing the H160’s performance in challenging offshore conditions.
