Wednesday, July 10, 2024 Latvia’s premier carrier, airBaltic , has unveiled the top travel picks for its passengers departing from Riga this August, highlighting Rome, Amsterdam, and Milan as the leading destinations. Based on an analysis of ticket sales and travel trends, these locales have emerged as the preferred choices for the month of August 2024. Operating out of Riga, airBaltic schedules six flights per week to Rome, three daily flights to Amsterdam, and five weekly journeys to Milan.

Other popular routes include flights to Paris, Heraklion, London, and Prague. The data for next month shows a marked preference for destinations in Italy and Greece, alongside key European capitals known for their dual appeal to leisure and business travelers. In May, airBaltic broadened its reach by introducing 15 new routes, expanding into seven new countries in Southeast Europe.



Looking ahead to the winter, the airline plans to add six more destinations, including flights from Riga to Madeira, Innsbruck, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Hurghada; from Tallinn to Kittilä; and from Vilnius to Oslo (Torp). This expansion will bring the airline’s total to more than 130 operational routes this year, a record number, across all its bases, complemented by seamless one-stop connections globally through its 24 code-share partners. airBaltic offers travel classes to suit various needs, including an Economy Class and a premium Business Class.
