Monday, May 27, 2024 Air Premia partners with Korean Air to offer seamless connecting flights from the Americas, enhancing travel convenience and expanding route options for passengers. Hybrid airline Air Premia, led by CEOs Yoo Myung-sub and Moon Bo-kook, announced on the 27th that it has formed an interline agreement with Korean Air. This collaboration will allow Air Premia to sell connecting tickets for flights departing from the Americas.

Interline agreements enable one airline to sell routes operated by another airline alongside its own routes. This allows customers to purchase a single ticket for flights operated by multiple airlines, streamlining the process by eliminating the need for additional check-ins or baggage claims during transfers. For airlines, these agreements help expand their route networks and attract transfer passengers.



With this new agreement, Air Premia passengers departing from American cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco can now purchase a single ticket that includes Korean Air flights for travel to Southeast or Northeast Asia via Incheon. These interline tickets are available through travel agencies. Specifically, Air Premia flights from New York can connect to eight Korean Air routes, including destinations like Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.
