Wednesday, June 19, 2024 Leading eVTOL manufacturer AIR has announced its foray into the cargo and logistics market with the unveiling of its new unmanned AIR ONE Cargo eVTOL. Despite maintaining a dominant position in the high-volume general aviation market, the company has recently clinched several deals to supply the unmanned version of its flagship eVTOL, AIR ONE, for cargo operations. Ending 2023 with over $1 million in revenue, these additional orders have significantly bolstered AIR’s revenue outlook for 2024 and 2025.

With the successful delivery of the first cargo aircraft, AIR is now focused on fulfilling the remaining AIR ONE Cargo orders throughout 2024 and the first half of 2025. The surge in demand, along with confirmed purchase orders, prompted AIR to develop unmanned eVTOLs for cargo, complementing its existing manned, “personal use” variant. This strategic move has led to exponential revenue growth since AIR’s entry into the cargo and logistics sector, showcasing the company’s potential as it ramps up mass eVTOL production.

The introduction of AIR ONE Cargo marks a significant milestone in AIR’s product portfolio, enhancing its design concepts and contributing to safety verification through valuable flight hours. Furthermore, the cargo aircraft plays a crucial role in achieving scaled production volumes, utilizing AIR’s automotive-based production line, methodologies, and automated manufacturing systems. “Venturing into this new market with AI.
