During its 20th-anniversary celebrations, the Air France-KLM Group disclosed findings from a comprehensive impact study that measured the economic and social advantages stemming from its operations in France and the Netherlands. Conducted by Herbert Castéran, a respected professor at the Institut Mines Télécom Business School, the research evaluated the contributions of Air France-KLM’s key sectors: passenger transport, cargo services, and aircraft maintenance.

Significant Contributions to National Economies The study revealed that in the fiscal year 2023, although Air France-KLM recorded a net income of 0.9 billion euros, its broader economic influence was far more substantial, contributing 48.9 billion euros to France and 21.
