Wednesday, May 22, 2024 Air Canada boosts Ottawa service by nearly 60%, adding 30 weekly flights for winter 2024-25. Expanded routes include Calgary, Winnipeg, Halifax, Quebec, and more. Air Canada is significantly enhancing its service to Ottawa, increasing the number of flights by nearly 60%.

This expansion will result in up to 30 additional weekly flights during the winter season of 2024-25 compared to the previous year. Notable adjustments include making the Calgary and Winnipeg routes available throughout the year. Additionally, there will be more flights added to Halifax, Quebec, and Vancouver.



The airline is also boosting its winter operations to U.S. destinations, increasing flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa.

These changes aim to provide more options and convenience for travelers during the busy winter months. As Canada’s largest airline and flag carrier, Air Canada, headquartered in Saint-Laurent, Montreal, Quebec, was established in 1937. It offers scheduled and charter services for passengers and cargo to 222 global destinations.
