Their recent report delves into how business schools can better comprehend and harness generative AI (GenAI). Following the release of this report, AACSB is thrilled to announce that renowned AI thought leader Ethan Mollick will be a keynote speaker at their Deans Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, in February 2025.
Ethan Mollick, an Associate Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, specializes in innovation and entrepreneurship, focusing on the impacts of artificial intelligence on work and education. He also spearheads Wharton Interactive, an initiative to democratize education through games, simulations, and AI. Before his academic career, Ethan co-founded a startup and currently advises several startups and organizations.
This announcement follows AACSB’s inaugural AI Conference in Santa Clara, California, which centered on the role of AI in business education and applied business. The conference emphasized the importance of AI’s capabilities and its role in enhancing efficiencies while preserving essential soft skills, a critical aspect of business education. AACSB plans to host a similar AI conference in Paris on October 9 and 10.
