The A11 in west Suffolk has been closed after a multi-vehicle collision. Emergency services were called about 1.40pm on Friday to reports of a van colliding with a lorry between Red Lodge and Barton Mills, near Mildenhall.

It was then reported, at about 1.44pm, that another collision occurred between a car and the debris left at the incident. READ MORE: Suffolk and Essex Traffic and Travel News Police, fire and ambulance services are currently at the scene.

A spokesman has now said that one lane has been opened and an injured individual has been taken to hospital. Drivers have been warned of delays and advised to find alternative routes.
