Zoe Ball says Justin Timberlake was 'gobby' in BBC interview Zoe Ball has claimed that Justin Timberlake was "gobby" when she first interviewed him as part of the boyband NSYNC back when they were teenagers. After playing Justin's hit song Like I Love You on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Monday, the presenter told listeners that she and co-star Richie Anderson had been discussing the singer's "greatest era" when he first released his album Justified. After listing some of the songs she loved from the album, Richie highlighted that it all started with him being a member of the five-piece NSYNC, who rose to fame in the 1990s.
Zoe went on to share her memory of first meeting the band who she claimed had "a bit of an edge". She shared: "I remember NSYNC coming into the Radio 1 Breakfast Show, they were a lively bunch of chaps they were! And he must've been all of 14 or 15 Justin Timberlake, and I was like, 'Oh yeah, he's a bit of a one'. "He was quite gobby shall we say," Zoe continued, which seemingly left Richie in shock.
"But, really good fun," she clarified. "Sometimes, you know, you want boybands to come in and have a bit of an attitude, have a bit of edge." Zoe has since reunited with Justin after interviewing him and Anna Kendrick about their film Trolls back in 2020.
Following their chat, the trio posed for pictures in which the presenter was all smiles for the camera. Read More..
