Listen to Story Veteran actor Zeenat Aman recently recalled her character in the 70s film 'Manoranjan'. Calling it 'sexually liberated', the actor also shared her thoughts on the 'titillating shower sequence', the music and costumes. Priyanka Chopra has responded to the post saying that 'moral policing' is still prevalent in the contemporary world.

On June 10, Zeenat shared a row of pictures from the film and recalled working during the 70s. She wrote in detail how the 'moral police' have been her 'steady companion' throughout her career. Zeenat played the role of a sex worker in 'Manoranjan'.

A section of her caption read, "If I’ve had a steady companion through my career, it’s been the moral police. And, my goodness, did they have a field day with this one!" Her outfits were flirtatious and sexy, but more importantly, she was unapologetic about how she earns a living. This was a character that I could have fun with: sexually liberated, financially independent, and fully capable of locking horns with, and turning down, any man (sic).

" She mentioned, "The 70s were a wonderful time to be alive! Despite the moral police (they’re always around) the atmosphere of experimentation, freedom and fashion was unmatchable!" Reacting to the post, Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Moral police is still around and will continue to be around it seem.
