1 of 1 2 of 1 A free community event curated by the VSO Indigenous Council is happening this Thursday (June 13) in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day (June 21). The Path Forward welcomes all to experience the vibrant art and performances from the Coast Salish territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. The evening begins with a family zone and a variety of Indigenous food available for purchase starting at 5pm; the Orpheum’s auditorium doors open at 6:30pm, inviting guests to join in for a free concert (which takes place at 7pm).

The concert, performed by VSO and members of the Indigenous council, features special guest performances from the Tla’amin Nation Prisma Festival students. To close out the evening, there is a fashion show featuring the designer Pam Baker and DJ O Show. VSO presents The Path Forward When: June 13, 5pm Where: Orpheum Theatre Admission: Free.
