TRIBUTES are being paid following the death of a popular Dublin theatre manager after battling a long illness. Cliona McNamara died on Thursday, June 4, in Our Lady's Hospice , Harold's Cross , after a recent illness. Draiocht Blanchardstown took to Facebook , giving their condolences to her family following her death.

They said: "Cliona is well known to our audiences and artists. A constant presence on show nights, Cliona brought calm and wisdom to all that she did. "Over her tenure, she had a particular commitment to our part time front of house team, many of whom would form lifelong friendships with her.

"Cliona will be missed by all the Draíocht family, current and past. Our thoughts are with her family and friends and all who loved her. May she Rest in Peace.
