DINOSAURS may have gone extinct 66 million years ago, but one country-wide tour is on a mission to bring back the pre-historic era. Jurassic Quest, the number one family-friendly experience in the country for recreating live dinosaurs , may just be coming to an arena near you. This touring dinosaur zoo travels around all of North America with realistic-looking pre-historic animatronics , or basically a life-like mechanical puppet.
Jurassic Quest describes its machines as "true-to-detail and size," offering one of the most real-looking dinosaur experiences in the country. The dino exhibit was created in Houston in 2013 and has since risen to the top of the touring animatronics industry. “These dinosaurs were created with the help of paleontologists to make them look realistic,” Jeff Munn, the CEO of Jurassic Quest told The Long Island Herald .
“But this isn’t just about showing good dinosaurs," he explained. "We’re also educating as well as pushing connection, inspiration, and driving fun.” During the lockdowns in 2020, The Wall Street Journal reported that Jurassic Quest was helping fill empty sports stadiums across the country.
They were bringing entertainment when no games could be played, turning vacant parking lots into prehistoric drive-through experiences that people could enjoy while socially distanced. Now that we're past the pandemic, Jurassic Quest has since transformed entire stadiums into pre-historic paradises for families to enjoy. Divided into perio.
