A woman's choice of hat for a windy day on a Greek beach has left viewers on social media in stitches. Ellie Farrugia's mother, Jo, had opted for fashion over function while getting ready to spend the day at , in eastern Greece—but the island's strong gusts turn her straw sun hat inside out. Farrugia, an Australian managing director at a London-based marketing agency, shared a of her mother's floppy hat being whimsically lifted by the wind to on June 16.
It has since been viewed more than 1.6 million times and has led to a number of amused comments. "My mom Jo has always been known for her humor, fabulous clothes and fun personality," Farrugia told .

Jo was looking into her daughter's camera lens, ready to pose for a vacation snap, when a strong breeze lifted the rim of her striped hat upwards.
The result, which resembled a Tudor era headdress, was clearly not what Jo had been going for but it left in hysterics. In a sequence of clips, Jo and her hat were filmed battling Corfu's breeze on a sun lounger, a boat and at a beach bar.
