Tickets to see Taylor Swift are notoriously difficult to get - even if you class yourself as one of her biggest fans. Swift first burst onto the music scene in 2006, but she truly found commercial fame with her 2008 hit 'Love Story'. Since then, Swifties have followed her career from strength to strength as she found her place in the music industry and became one of the most popular artists of this generation.

And those lucky enough to go to the Eras Tour will likely be super fans. However, one woman has as she admitted she decided to bag herself a ticket for a very unusual reason, despite not knowing her tunes. Comedian Mark Watson took to X (formerly Twitter ) to explain what he'd overheard on the train on June 7.

He wrote: "Train is packed with Swifties chatting about tonight's show. Among them, a lady about 50 who doesn't know Swift's music but is going because 'I don't like to miss out on what everyone's doing'. She's in for quite a weird evening, I think.

" He then mused about how she even got a ticket in the first place if she's not a fan. He penned: "How she got tickets from such a passive starting point, given the demand, I don't really understand." One reckoned that she had the "perfect attitude to life", however, replying: "She is in for an intense fan experience for sure but what a perfect attitude to life.

She could just sit at home moaning about how music's not as good as it was in the eighties but she's out trying new stuff and I hope she has a great time." Some.
