London is brimming with iconic sights. Yet, when one social media influencer showcased some lesser-known spots, she faced a barrage of mockery online over a certain restaurant choice. Olga, who goes by volga_londonstories on Instagram, shared a list of over a dozen 'hidden gems' in the capital, in a post captioned '18 Hidden gems I never knew existed in London'.

Accompanied by a swift slideshow of images, the video features everything from quaint pubs to charming bakeries and eateries. The journey begins at the V&A Cafe within the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, then onto the Mail Rail Train at the Postal Museum in Clerkenwell. Not to be missed is the tucked-away cafe at Redemption Roasters, as well as the historic Brixton Windmill.

However, it was Zizzi, the Italian restaurant chain, particularly its branch at St Katherine's Docks which grabbed people's attention, which has racked up 36,000 likes to date.
