Popstar Burger in downtown Hickory has appeared, from the outside, ready to open for months. Terrance Mungro, who is the owner of Limbertwig Café in Morganton and is planning to run Popstar, said staffing issues are a big reason the restaurant has not opened yet. The café offers vegetarian options and Mungro said he is considering putting those on the menu at Popstar Burger for those who may want something besides a burger.
