When shopping in secondhand stores, it is not uncommon to leave empty-handed. So, when one user came across a rack full of goodies, she decided to take all of the "good stuff" in a desperate bid to go home with a bargain. However, this method ruffled a few feathers, which led u/ to share her experience on Reddit.
So far, the post has received more than 17,000 upvotes in two days. The woman said that she was lucky enough to arrive at the thrift store at the same time as the delivery truck. So she was excited to check out the stock and believed she would finally find something decent, which doesn't happen very often.
But then three women entered the store, whom she believed were out to buy items to sell. The poster wrote: "I felt a sense of dread because I wouldn't be fast enough to check, so I just and into my cart in my size. "When the two got to me, they started staring.
I said, 'What?' and one was like, 'We'd like to be able to see what's on the rack too.' I said that they could as soon as I was done. She scoffed at me and said, 'That's rude; we'd like a chance to shop these clothes too.
'" The poster said she ignored the woman and continued to look at the items one by one before putting them back onto the rack. "The women were getting mad and snatching things basically out of my hand. I held up a nice top and one of them tried grabbing it OUT of my hand and I said, 'Excuse you,' and turned my back to her," the poster wrote.
This led to one of the women getting a member of s.
