It's a week of season finales (starting with the finale tonight), in which nearly every broadcast show signs off for the season and some for good. (We'll miss you, and ) Although is still fresh in our minds (and you can—and should!—read our deep-dive with ), it's time to look ahead to this week's new offerings, which include more than 15 shows ending their strike-shortened seasons. The good news is that most of these shows will return with new episodes in the fall—or midseason—but it's the end of the road for as well as as a judge on .

A decade or so ago, this week would kick off months of summer reruns, but thanks to streaming and cable, the summer TV slate is busier than ever. returns next month, as does new episodes of and a new season of .
