The rowing event, which was established in 1839, takes place every year and sees teams compete in multiple races along the Thames. Clubs from up and down the country will vye for glory as they take part in some 300 competitions.

However, it is as famous for its fashion as it is for its rowing, and attendees today certainly seemed keen to maintain that reputation. They certainly didn't let the less-than-ideal weather conditions affect their style, with some seen keeping their outfits protected from the drizzle with large umbrellas. There are two sections at the event - the Regatta Enclosure and the Stewards' Enclosure.
