The new wellbeing event, called ZenAM, was held on Saturday, June 22 at the Jolly Thresher on Higher Lane. The event showcased a range of wellbeing tips and activities for guests all while raising money for Brainwave. Brainwave is a charity that delivers specialist therapy sessions to families across the UK and provides aids to help children communicate independently.
“It was a wonderful morning and a pleasure to take part,” said Joanne Freeman, Brainwave’s fundraising manager. “We’re thrilled with the funds raised which will have a meaningful impact in our work supporting children with disabilities and additional needs.” ZenAM took place inside a tipi at the Jolly Thresher (Image: Supplied) A total of £650 was raised during through the event, which will help the charity continue to deliver its specialist therapy sessions.

Guests also took part in a raffle, that included prizes such as a personal nutrition plan, an hour of coaching and top-of-the-range skincare and beauty products.
