They feel that, due to the "anguish and distress" resulting from the traumatic incident, 27-year-old Oliver White took his own life.
White was victim to a ruthless assault on Saturday afternoon at 247 Kettles, a high-end jeweller in Richmond, south west London. Distracted by one thief asking him to fix a timepiece, he was swiftly placed in a chokehold by another, while the precious watches worth about £2.8 million were stolen.
CCTV footage of the robbery was shared online, showing White being assaulted which instantly gained major attention, the Mirror reports . Despite not suffering from major injuries during the brutal robbery, it was only on Sunday, shortly after 8.15pm, that he was found dead at his family home in Shepperton, Surrey.
