Lawrence University, a Master of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University, and School District Supervisor Certification from The College of Saint Rose. When Scott arrived at Niskayuna Central Schools, he began his role as Director of Art Education. He impacted so many of the art teachers, changing the direction of the department as a visionary and architect for the arts to be accessible to many, not the few. He left a lasting legacy behind in K-12 art education.
