Monday, June 3, 2024 Virgin Atlantic is expanding its global connectivity with three new codeshare partnerships set to launch this year, providing enhanced customer benefits and rewarding its most frequent flyers. Today, the airline confirmed that starting 5 September 2024, it will resume daily flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv, using Airbus A330 aircraft. These flights will offer connections through Heathrow to 14 US destinations, with 33 daily flights operated by Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines. In addition, a new codeshare partnership with EL AL will enhance connectivity between the UK, US, and Israel.

This partnership allows for up to four daily flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv, providing greater flexibility and choice for customers. Frequent flyers will benefit from reciprocal earn and redemption opportunities, as well as premium recognition and tier benefits through Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club and EL AL’s Matmid program. Virgin Atlantic customers will be able to connect from Tel Aviv to the US, reaching 11 destinations on 23 daily flights.
