The ex-governor of Alaska, 60, appeared on today’s programme to share her unwavering support of Donald Trump after he was found guilty of falsifying business records. Speaking to GMB presenters Rob Rinder, 46, and Ranvir Singh, also 46, Palin described the court ruling as ‘atrocious’ and said that she was now ‘fired up’ to ‘get out there and fight for what is right’.

However, her appearance on the morning TV show shocked viewers with @londonirishlad1: raging ‘What is the point of having Palin on to comment on Trump? ‘No insight, just more subjective opinion from one of his biggest supporters and ranting about fake news. Total nonsense #GMB.’ Echoing their sentiment @arpz fumed: ‘Sarah Palin is legitimately a swivel-eyed loon.

Stop platforming these absolute mentalists wtf. #GMB.’ Lost for words, @Grant_Denholm said: ‘Sarah Palin.

Just wow. #GMB.’ @FoodFunForest also added: ‘Sarah Palin is absolutely unhinged.

As all of Trump’s supporters seem to be. #GMB.’ Since starting her career in politics, Palin has made a name for herself for spouting far-right views.

She has previously declared herself in favour of capital punishment, opposes same-sex marriage, and is against abortion in almost all cases, including rape and inces.
