Smores, BBQs, and Sunday morning pancakes are in store for the Kamakura Jogakuin High School (HS) group from Japan as they travel to Victoria on July 26. "We are thrilled to be welcoming the Kamakura Jogakuin, HS group again this year," Cheryl Lee, COO of Canadian International Student Services (CISS), Muskoka Language International (MLI). "Families often have life-changing experiences right in their own backyard.

It's amazing for the students and equally rewarding for our hosts." Students will be hosted at the Pacific Christian Elementary Campus for a Host Matching Ceremony before departing on August 8. While on campus, they will have a guest speaker from Global Girls.

After the ceremony, there will be plenty of time for the students and host families to get familiar with each other. "It is beautiful to see the friendships formed between students and hosts," Lee said..
