NEXT has issued an urgent recall over fears that its sleep suits could pose a choking hazard. The fashion giant has noticed a problem with its three pack of footless yellow, white and blue sleep suits and issued a return notice. 1 Next has recalled three sleep suits over choking concerns Credit: NEXT This is because there is an issue with the zip construction, which could result in the slider becoming detached.

There are concerns that a young child could then place the small part in their mouth and choke. Next and The Office for Product Safety and Standards, part of the Department for Business and Trade, has issued the urgent recall. This means that the product doesn't meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005 and has been recalled as a result.

Parents who bought the sleep suits are being urged to return them to Next and get a full refund. You don't need to take your receipt with you. If you can't make it to your nearest store, you can arrange a collection through your Next online account or call the retailer on 0333 777 8000.

The sleep suits were priced between £19 and £21, depending on the size.
