SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — The annual Utah Asian Festival is coming up this weekend, marking 47 years of celebrating culture and unity. The festival will be at the Utah State Fairpark on Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m.
to 8 p.m., featuring performances, children’s activities, as well as food from 40+ Asian-owned venues, and dozens of vendors.
Admission is free and ticket holders can utilize free UTA transportation for this event. According to a press release from the Asian Association of Utah , which hosts the event, there were a record-breaking 22,000 attendees last year, many traveling from out of state. The release said that while the festival is a celebration, it also looks to honor the ways in which “Utah’s Asian families have preserved and flourished against the odds.
