A University of Chester graduate has announced a new fashion runway show at a prestigious gallery. The show will bring together eye-catching fashion and art at the renowned Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, where more than 240 guests, including big names in the fashion industry, are expected to attend. Alexandra Novacki's Couture Runway for emerging designers event is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2024.

This initiative not only bears witness to her innovative new collection but also aims to leave a significant mark in history for the Northern fashion industry, with support from The King’s Trust. Known for designing bespoke pieces that empower their wearers, Ms Novacki uses only high-quality materials and high skills. The extends the theme from her pre-collection launched earlier this year, inspired by the natural beauty and vibrant colours from her childhood in the Derbyshire Peaks.

Her successful 2023 Fashion Design t, the haute couture Furious Creatures collection, set the precedent with its successful launch at Chester Cathedral last year. Ms Novacki said: "We want to take the drama and performance even further this year, continuing on our mission to pioneer a Northern high fashion and runway scene that has real meaning behind it." Ms Novacki also added: "It feels like a huge milestone to reach this show as so many designers come and go after their debut runways so it’s a huge step and hugely reassuring to know that I’ve stepped up to the mark and raised the bar.
