Mother and daughter duo, Debbie and Zoe, founded the UK-based online shopping outlet Secret Label after discovering the extent of clothing waste each year. The company collects surplus garments from a variety of brands, such as H&M, Zara, River Island, Topshop and Reiss, preventing them from ending up on landfill sites.

Despite running for 10 years, Secret Label is still relatively unknown, which means there are plenty of bargains for shoppers. A floral wrap dress by Coast, with an RRP of £129, can be purchased for £35 - offering a saving of 73 per cent.
