UBISOFT wrapped up its Forward showcase last night, featuring extended previews of the publisher’s upcoming Star Wars and Assassin’s Creed games. The livestream kicked off with a 10-minute gameplay preview of Star Wars Outlaws , the first truly open-world game set in that galaxy far far away. We caught a glimpse of the game’s seamless space and land travel and exploration, dogfights in space with your starship, and a quest that involved both stealth and gunplay. Next up was Ubisoft’s new shooter game XDefiant , which is launching its inaugural season soon, with lots in store for players.

A Skull and Bones trailer was shown, focused on the ongoing Season 2: Chorus of Havoc and some new quality–of–life features that are already available in the game, such as fleet management and new ship upgrades. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown , the excellent metroidvania that launched earlier this year, is getting its first story DLC, Mask of Darkness, releasing in September 2024.
