Reggae fusion artiste Tuff Like Iron launched her album titled Unbreakable with a string of powerful performances from a number of rising reggae acts. The launch was held at the Caribbean Queen dock in downtown Kingston on her birthday, May 28. Backed by the Affirmation Band, the crowd was wowed by a range of performances from up-and-coming acts such as Kool Kid, Majesty, The Gideon, Goldy, Blaize Shell Shell.
Tuff Like Iron performed songs from her album, such as Balance and Sometimish , the latter getting a major 'forward' from the crowd. Disc jockeys kept the audience entertained in-between the sets. The crowd was also entertained by a spectacular fashion show organised by Tuff Like Iron Clothing and powered by fashion designers such as Mamayashi, Kadiann Nicely and Luv I Stylez, who presented wonderfully curated pieces.
"It was a night full of joy, music, fashion, and food with a 'tuff' attitude," said an ecstatic Tuff Like Iron, whose given name is Kindele Aixe. The album is currently available via the artiste's website. "Downloaders can expect bonus, exclusive content, as well as an unreleased dub instrumental.
It will be on the traditional streaming platforms in weeks to come," the Trinidad-born Tuff Like Iron said. She released her first EP, 1986 , for Jah Ova Evil Records in 2014, and her debut album, Ironic , was well received by reggae lovers..
