The close friend of a watch dealer said to have taken his own life after a robbery at the store he worked at was left "petrified and traumatised" by the incident. Oliver White, 27, was placed in a chokehold on Saturday afternoon while a second man stole a number of luxury watches at 247 Kettles in Richmond, south west London, in a haul worth millions of pounds. Mr White, 27, a sales manager at the company, was found dead at home on Sunday in Shepperton in Surrey.
His death is not being treated as suspicious. His family fear he took his own life after the horror incident. A friend said Oliver was "traumatised".
They told MailOnline : "Olli was petrified he could lose all that he owns and they might even take his mother’s house. "He was also traumatised by what happened and became very fearful about the impact this robbery could have on his and his family’s financial future. He just didn’t know what was going to happen.
