Speaking to Mid-West Radio, Achill Tourism Manager Chris McCarthy said it was great news for the Island while news of Taylor’s visit had brought much excitement to the area. “Taylor Swift had seen (the movie) and she fell in love with the location and the pub,” Mr McCarthy said. “She went on American TV herself and (director) Martin McDonough and she called him out on dismantling the pub.
