The Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop is expanding its business to better serve the cyclists who frequent the many trailheads that stem from the area of Harmony Ridge. In fact, they are joining forces with the Harmony Ridge Market to offer cyclists services that may be a convenient help in a bicycle emergency. “We’re gonna do basically rentals out of the shop as we have done down here,” said Aron Yevuta, Service Manager for Tour of Nevada City, speaking from the shop’s Sacramento Street location.

it has a little complexity with getting the bikes to the trailhead,” said Yevuta. “We have trail systems in town, and Harmony Ridge is so popular that it makes a lot of sense for us to offer a rental service out there.” The Outpost presented by Tour of Nevada City will celebrate its grand opening with a proper party on July 13, where Yevuta said they are hoping to hold a raffle and just enjoy the fact that the Tour name lives strong in the cycling world.

“(The grand opening) will entail having a party, possibly a raffle. Just offering food and drink and really just being a welcoming experience for everyone up there, and just to show that we now have a second location,” said Yevuta. “We will be doing some trail side repair, and light repair services up there as well,” said Yevuta of the outpost.
