Tim Walker, from My Carbon Coach, runs a monthly litter pick called Tidy Up Taunton in an effort to encourage locals to "tidy up their neighbourhoods." This month's event started on May 25 and will finish on June 2. Speaking about the event on Facebook, Tim said: "Every month I organise a litter pick in our town as Tidy Up Taunton and there's always children who are very eager to get involved and to go litter picking, so let's turn it into a game this half term! .that's actually a good thing! "Then please share a photo to the Tidy Up Taunton Facebook group of yourself/child with your bag of rubbish (please do blur faces if that's your preference). "Everyone that does will get 10% off their next shop at My Carbon Coach (on Lower Middle Street) in June! Litter Picking Bingo.

Speaking further about his motivation, Tim added: "I love our town, it's a really beautiful place to live, but unfortunately like most towns across the UK it has a litter problem.
"The town centre is well looked after for the most part, like our lovely parks, but it's the outskirts, .
