Police arrested two men on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle a building on Freeman Street , before officers discovered a cannabis grow inside. At around 2.15am on Tuesday morning, police spotted people in a vehicle acting suspiciously on Freeman Street in Grimsby.

Officers approached the men, who had attempted to leave the area, before they were found to be in possession of a crowbar. A 25-year-old and 27-year-old man were subsequently arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to burgle. A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis. A scene guard remained in place throughout Tuesday and Wednesday to allow police to continue with their enquiries. All three men have since been released pending further investigation.
