I'm not a big blusher fan but I discovered Jones Road Miracle Balm quite recently, and instantly fell in love. The combination of dewy balm and the perfect subtle pink (I wear the shade Dusty Rose) immediately boosts my complexion and makes my look perkier and healthier, especially after a late night or a few too many glasses of wine. So when I spotted that Glow Hub, a brand perhaps most famous for its TikTok-viral Scar Slayer Serum , had launched something that looked remarkably like Miracle Balm – but for a third of the price – I had to try it out.
Glow Hub Good Skin Glaze Glow Balm, £12 from Beauty Bay Glow Hub's Good Skin Glaze Glow Balm comes in three shades and costs £12 from Glow Hub's own website as well as other retailers such as Beauty Bay and ASOS. Housed in a cute pebble-shaped compact, it's packed full of moisture-rich oils and sheer pigments, and is designed to be patted on to cheeks and lips for a fresh flush of colour, either over foundation or worn on its own. First up, a moment for the packaging.
Its tactile pebble shape fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, and clicks open and closed in a very pleasing way. There's also a handy mirror in the lid. The product inside is also lovely to apply, if you love cream blushes, going on equally well with fingers as with a brush.
It's easy to blend into the skin, and gives a light sheen with a wash of colour . It doesn't feel quite as oil-rich as Jones Road's, which feels nourishing on the skin al day long. Glo.
