Anas Basheer wanted a unique house that stands out among the thickly packed concrete structures in the bustling city of Kaloor in Kochi, Kerala. The multiple box-shaped patterns make the elevation of this contemporary abode look chic and modern. Meanwhile, the huge laminated glass windows add a scintillating charm to the perfect exteriors.

The house dons a mesmerizing ambience when the lights are switched on in the interiors. The grand mansion designed in 4150 sqft, has a car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with work area, courtyard and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Meanwhile, there are two more bedrooms and a balcony on the upper floor.

The interiors are designed in a semi-open style. The windows are installed at the right spot to ensure good cross-ventilation inside the house. As the house stands in the middle of the busy city, there wasn’t much scope for designing an elaborate landscape.

This was compensated by arranging quaint spots of greenery inside the house. The formal living area has a double-height ceiling making the area look incredible and vaster. A classic and customised leather couch adorns the formal living area.

Meanwhile, the dining table set looks regal with a sleek marble top fixed on sturdy metal frame. The beautiful view of the courtyard could be enjoyed from the dining area. The fabulous courtyard is the highlight of the house.

This area is decorated with lots of beautiful indoor plants. The ceiling in triple-h.
