In my field as a dance artiste or as an artiste who is very much interested in musical theatre, or theatre in general, it hasn’t done much, because, to be honest, everyone goes with the trend. And it seems like music and movies as a collective art on its own or individual art on its own is thriving more than dance, and you want to infuse that. Most people don’t understand that through theatre you can have three elements for the price of one or 10 surprises for the price of one.

You pay money to go and see musical art or you pay money to go and see a movie at the theatre or at the cinema; but when you pay money to come and see musical theatre or theatre production, there is poetry in it, there is dialogue and even in the dialogue there is suspense, thriller and love. All of these emotions are mixed. And then there is music that goes with the song.
